Claas, a company that builds agricultural machinery, presented their new Jaguar 800 and 900 series in 2013. These harvesters feature greater comfort and further optimised drive systems. Pentas created, in close cooperation with the development team of Claas, the rotomoulding parts for the Jaguar 800 and 900 models. For the Jaguar 800, as well as for the 900 series, all roto-moulding (plastic) parts are produced by Pentas for which all moulds are created in-house.
The new Jaguar 800 range now has the same curves as the 900 series – and also offers optimised air flow in the cooling system and excellent visibility for the driver. The Jaguar 800 can now be equipped with the multi crop cracker and a mechanical accelerator gap setting unit to optimise crop flow.
New for the Jaguar 900: dynamic cooling, which can save up to 12 kW of power. A new addition in the Jaguar 900 series is dynamic cooling, an automatic system which adjusts the fan speed in line with the coolant, hydraulic oil and charge air temperatures. Up to 12 kW of power can be saved when the cooling performance is reduced in this way.
Lots of variety
The new Jaguar 900 and 800 model ranges enable market leader CLAAS to meet the most demanding of requirements in terms of results and convenience. At the same time, CLAAS remains true to its successful 2-series strategy, offers the largest performance spectrum on the market and can therefore deliver optimum solutions to meet the needs of all its customers worldwide – from North America through Europe to China.
