Pentas presents practical AI applications at Tech Dialogues
On Monday, November 17, Pentas took part in Tech Dialogues, the new conference format by Mikrocentrum in Veldhoven. This event focuses on strategic knowledge exchange within the high-tech and manufacturing industries. During this edition, Marthijn and Sander explained on behalf of Pentas how we apply AI in a practical and future-oriented way within our organization.

AI as a daily tool
At Pentas, we’ve been working with AI for some time now, both in office processes and on the shop floor. Our approach is clear: technology must be directly applicable for colleagues, add value, and make work easier.
We use language models and internal knowledge bases to make information more readily accessible and to support decision-making. In addition, we are exploring how AI can contribute to greater consistency, quality, and efficiency in our production processes.
Dynamic work instructions with vision technology
At Tech Dialogues, we highlighted one of our latest AI applications: using vision models combined with cameras to generate dynamic, visual work instructions for the post-processing of our rotationally moulded products.
This method replaces static manuals and provides colleagues with clear, contextual instructions that adapt to the product in front of them.
Watch the demonstration video below to see how the system works on the shop floor and directly supports daily tasks:
Looking ahead: a digital assistant for every colleague
In the coming years, we are working towards an ambitious yet achievable goal: providing every colleague at Pentas with a digital assistant that is always available for questions, checks, and instructions. Not as an experiment, but as a new standard for working in a modern production environment.
Building the factory of the future together
The reactions during Tech Dialogues confirm that there is a strong need in the manufacturing industry for practical, proven AI applications. We are proud to contribute to this from Pentas and look forward to further developments and collaborations.
