Very precise work

Wouter Koorn, production manager at Pentas: “In total, we deploy eleven robots for various things, like filling moulds with raw material, assembling plastic products and post-processing products, such as milling and drilling. All these actions must be carried out very precisely in order to guarantee top quality. We can now do that even better thanks to our robots.”
Once the cast product has been clamped on a milling mould, it is the robot’s turn. The preprogrammed software controls the robot that drills holes in the product or mills pieces from the product. The computerised control is programmed in-house, which gives us flexibility and makes the process easily accessible. We can, for instance, already use this technique for efficient and stable post-processing in medium-sized production lines.
