Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) are methods that Pentas uses during the design stage to improve the feasibility of a product. DFM involves aspects such as choice of material, dimensional accuracy and finishing. DFA mostly addresses assembly. Production and assembly optimisation are most effective when applied during the design stage.
The aim is for Pentas to deliver an optimally feasible design of a reproducible plastic Rotational moulding product in close collaboration with you, the client. The result is achieved through co-engineering. Pentas uses the most recent 3D CAD applications.
This product engineering stage comes down to know-how, quality, efficient production and a competitive price as well as eliminating risks and problems.
